Interview - Egor Galizdra

A reflection of a timeless and playful silhouette where the garment grows within the time and questions ourselves.

Egor Galizdra throughout his Fall/Winter 13-14 Collection "We" is taking inspiration from a modern and contemporary culture, finely associated along unique prints. Sharing a personal view, the designer proposes us his optimistic and yet futuristic idea of the menswear.

"How can you express the soul of your garments ?"

Egor Galizdra
"My main idea is to reflect different aspects of the modern world. I want to make clothes that could exist in the past, present and future at the same time. Every time was/will be not easy, clothes should be not easy too. So first of all, my clothes should have a conflict soul, as human have. This way, everybody can see my garments differently: someone sees rebel, someone sees the reflection of utopia and someone see contemporary art-object. So the truth and the beauty are in the eye of the beholder"

"What makes you believe in Fashion ?"

Egor Galizdra
"Fashion is always trying to produce new ideas. This process is unstoppable"
