Interview - Daniela Barros
Daniela Barros offer along her Autumn/Winter 2014-15 collection "DALKA" a femininity reflecting an historical heritage, interpreted within a contemporary silhouette, where dimensions given into the texture and print creates a certain geometry. Finely associated technical materials contrast the natural and noble fibres highlighting an association of volumes, sometimes structured, sometimes oversized as seen throughout her key garment, the coat.

"How can you express the soul of your garments ?"
Daniela Barros
"The garments I choose for my work needs to transmit something more than just being a flat matter but needs to have personality and often specific features and techniques. I choose by texture, concreteness, the construction is a balance between natural, noble and more technological fabrics"

"What makes you believe in Fashion ?"
Daniela Barros
"Fashion for me is a complement of art. We can express ourselves freely and receive inspiration from everything that surrounds us, from the moment of creation to the time of the show"
